I have four trees.

I have four trees I wanted up
Before this break had ended,
But life has thrown me other plans;
I've done less than intended.

Our big green tree is standing bare,
But thankfully it's prelit.
At least the lights adorn the tree
Since the kids won't stop to trim it.

The gameroom tree had just the spot
In the corner by the TV.
A desk now sits in that locale;
I'd move it but I'm sleepy.

It took a while to clear the space
For my Texas tree, and hello?
I pulled that white tree from the box,
And don't you know, it's YELLOW.

So that leaves just Tree #4,
And it's all decorated.
Of course, it's only 2 feet tall,
But it's done so I'm elated! 

We should be set within a week,
Depending on our timing.
We'll deck the halls and trim the trees
But no more of this rhyming!
