Wonderful wedding day.
Almost 51 years after their wedding, Nana and Papa are happy to see one of their grandchildren get married.
Dressing a bridesmaid's son turned into a family affair!
After the ceremony and reception, we made our way to a bowling alley for the after-party.
It was a sweet ceremony ("Somewhere Over the Rainbow" as my Wizard of Oz-loving niece walks down the aisle? PERFECT!) and a wonderful day. We pray that God will bless Cara and Jeff in their life together.

Rehearsal dinner.
Weddings are such happy occasions, but this one is extra special for us.
Of course, it's special because we adore the bride. But it's also a rare treat to get to see all the Davises together!
After enjoying a wonderful Blue Mesa meal, Cara and Jeff gave gifts to those who were helping with the wedding.
It was neat to see them recognize the cousins for their participation in the wedding.
Cara thanked Scott for singing, too.
Chris got a gift for being one of Jeff's groomsmen.
Hearing Jeff introduce his groomsmen and his best man (his brother) really helped us get to know him better. We're so thankful that Cara is marrying such a godly man!

Here comes the bride...
After months of anticipation, Cara and Jeff's wedding weekend had finally arrived! We all gathered at the Alexander Mansion in Garland for the rehearsal.
(Aren't they just the greatest candlelighters ever? Actually, they had some pretty big shoes to fill since Cara and her brother Chris lit the candles at OUR wedding 15 years ago!)
That's the bride and our niece, Cara, accompanying Brett's brother, Scott. (She was just filling in for the absent pianist.) We're so happy for her and Jeff!
