While Katie was wrapping up her PowerZone lock-in, I took Ryan to Tea and Donuts, his favorite Saturday morning hang-out. The kids ride their bikes to this particular donut shop most Mondays after school, and if our schedule allows, they like to go there for breakfast on Saturdays, too. They love the young woman who runs the place (and who always gives them freebies), and every now and then, they splurge and add a Dublin Dr Pepper to their sugarpalooza.Brett usually accompanies the kids to T&D to spare me the carby temptation, but on this trip, I indulged in some hibiscus tea. Oh, yeah. I'll be gettin' more of THAT. Mmmm.
