Towards the end of our spring break, we were plenty ready to get out of Dodge. Brett took off a couple of days, and we hit the road.
On our way to Austin, the kids and I wanted to show Brett our new favorite rest stop: The Best Rest Stop Ever just outside Salado. (Its actual name is Bell County Safety Rest Stop. Whatever.)
We used the facilities and ran around on the playground.
It was awesome to take in that fresh air and sunshine after spending the afternoon in the car.
That stop is a fun place to just hang out!
