Funny, but most of those fans chose not to partake in the "tiger meat" (chicken fajitas) we were grilling!
The seasoning gave those fajitas the most wonderful color!
Once again we picked up dessert at H-E-B. The cookies have been a hit at the last two tailgates!
T has attended many an away game, and he speaks very highly of the treatment he received in Columbia. Everybody at our tailgate tries to be extra gracious to all fans of the opposing team, but T made a special effort to welcome Tiger fans this week. (This couple's son is a redshirt freshman on the Mizzou team.)
I got to meet former Longhorn and Patriots Pro Bowl corner Ray Clayborn at the AT&T "Technology Tailgate." This promotion was held just a few feet away from our tents. (I couldn't help but laugh when my call to Brett--on my AT&T cell phone--was dropped WHILE I WAS IN THE AT&T TRUCK!)
One special guest at this gathering was a reporter from News 8 Austin.
She needed a group of Longhorn fans to be wild and crazy. We were happy to oblige:
Another special guest: This guy, dressed like the trophy we hope to see Colt taking home this December!
