After Open House at Ryan's school, I couldn't help but notice the long shadows we were casting as we trudged back to our car. It reminded me of another self-portrait photo op when the sun was just above the horizon.Katie was a good sport and stopped to pose with me, but as soon as Ryan saw me pull out my camera, he high-tailed it to the car!
Apparently, posing with Mom for a shadow portrait is not the cool thing to do when you're in seventh grade!
