We Wish You a Merry Third Grade.

Katie and her fellow third graders presented their Christmas program Thursday night. It was so clever! The students (with their teachers' help) rewrote the lyrics to classic Christmas songs to make them reflect their curriculum. "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" became "Three Branches of the Government," for example.

We loved watching Katie sing. She knew every word! Katie's fan club was there to support her, including Memaw, who's thrilled to be driving again(!).

We love the way they've strung jewel-toned icicle lights all over their roof. It's on Chapman between Smithfield and Rufe Snow, and it's worth a drive-by since this photo doesn't do it justice.
